No, started when the NCAA allowed a 10th assistant

and Fuente was given less than $200K for that position which ensured that it would have to be someone very inexperienced without P5 or established recruiting experience.

Then a series of events happened... Fuente was looking to potentially get another OC. Then Fuente wanted Kill before the season and had to wait until money was freed up from another department before bringing Kill on during the season. Then Fuente wanted Odom as the DC and lost out over $200K.
